Carol Crutchlow — brilliant actor, director, writer, teacher, comedian, beloved family member and treasured member of the community — needs our help.
A student and practitioner of Buddhism since 1969, Carol studied with Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche, and now studies with Sakyong Mipham, Rinpoche. She is a former Resident Director of Shambhala Training. She currently directs all levels of Shambhala training and is also a teacher for the Monday Night Community Gathering, Beginning to Mediate, and the Way of Shambhala series.
Carol taught Theatre at The Naropa University for 12 years, and was part of many productions there and elsewhere. In addition to her one-woman show, “Carol Crutchlow Beside Herself,” she was a performer and writer in “The Trickster” and “The Trickster Returns” with the Holy Cow Theatre Company.
Carol currently enjoys chairing the Resident Council for her senior apartment complex. The Council works to grow and organize the community of 70+ residents and promotes dignity and harmony among residents and staff.
Carol was diagnosed in December 2016 with Stage 4 cancer, and needs assistance in paying for medical and related expenses.
